(31 July 2019, Santiago) Philippine Ambassador to Chile Ma. Teresita C. Daza (left) receives the traditional ASEAN Committee in Santiago (ACS) gavel from Malaysian Embassy CDA, a.i., Suria Hani Jahaya symbolizing the transfer ACS Chairmanship from Malaysia to the Philippines. The Philippines will chair the ACS for four months.

Chile-Asia Pacific Business Women’s Association and Vice

President of Valparaiso Regional Chamber of Commerce

(Santiago, 31 July 2019) – Ambassador Daza received Mrs. Lynn Gray Davies, President of Chile-Asia Pacific Business Women´s Association and Vice-President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Valparaiso and Ms. Leslie Lopez, Vice-President of the Association. Ms. Gray Davies presented the Association to the Ambassador and informed her of the three (3) main meetings for 2019, namely: “Oceans” in Punta Arenas (August); Digital Economy, Connectivity and SMEs in Concepcion (September); and Renewable Energy in Antofagasta (October).        

The introductory meeting provided an opportunity to explore collaborative projects between the Embassy and the Chile-Asia Pacific Business Women´s Association and the Valparaiso Regional Chamber of Commerce. END
