THE PHILIPPINE EMBASSY TURNS-OVER SCHOOL MATERIALS TO ESCUELA DE LA REPUBLICA DE FILIPINAS

26 November 2020-Ambassador Daza, her spouse David and an Embassy team visited the Escuela de la Republica de Filipinas in Lo Espejo on 18 November 2020 to turn over materials in support of the school. Colorful bean bags were handed over to Ms. Veronica Carreno Moyano, school principal, the first in a series of school materials to be given to the school. This latest donation is the result of the succesful ´´Christmas Bazaar 2019´´, a joint activity between the Embassy and the Filipino Community in Santiago.
Ambassador Daza and spouse also donated two big Philippine banig/mats, one depicting the map of the Philippines and another mat showing vibrant colors. These mats will form part of the Philippine Corner in the school library.
In 2019 the Embassy and the Ambassador donated books and paintings for the said Philippine Corner.
