Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza together with Political Officer  Dennis John C. Briones and Communications Officer Jeffry D. Aranda virtually met with Dirección General del Territorio Marítimo y Marina Mercante de Chile (DIRECTEMAR) Captain Cristian Martis, on the  MOU on Recognition of Certificates under the Terms of the 1978 STCW Convention and other programs in line with the 75th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between the Philippines and Chile on 15 March 2021. Captain Martis was joined by Lieutenant Commander Ignacio Ortiz and Captain Luis Felipe Garcia.

Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza together with Embassy officers and staff met with Filipinas married to Chilean/ expatriates with their kids on 12 March 2021. The meeting allowed the Ambassador to discuss the 75th Anniversary as well as concrete activities with the Escuela de la Republica de Filipinas. Among those who joined the meeting were Ariane Bobillo, Alonso Bobillo,  Arlene Quinco, Rodrigo Hernan Miranda, Philip Hernan Miranda, Lesly Legaspi and Juan Zorilla.

Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza together with Political Officer/ Consul Mr. Dennis John C. Briones and Special Assistant Ms. Paula Andrea E. Rodriguez met with Serivicio Nacional de Pesca y Agricultura (SERNAPESCA) Director Jessica Fuentes, on a prospective MOU on Agricultural and Fisheries cooperation and other programs in line with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Chile on 11 March 2021. Director Fuentes was joined by the Head of International Affairs Unit Monica Rojas and Head of Cabinet Maria Alejandra Arellano.

10 March 2021, Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza met with Ambassador Carlos Olguin of  the Directorate for Asia and the Pacific (DIRAPAC) on preparations and deliverables for the celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Philippines and Chile in 2021. Ambassador Daza and Director Olguin also discussed ongoing negotiations of agreements and ongoing collaboration in the areas of trade and investment, agriculture, tourism, culture. END
