(Santiago, 26 August 2021) – Heads of Posts (HOPs) from Latin America - Linglingay Lacanlale and Ma. Teresita Daza together with representatives from Consulates General and Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) attended the FAME + Digital Roadshow organized by the Center for International and Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) on 27 August 2021, 0800h to 1000h (PST).

The Webinar was organized purposely to promote the upcoming virtual FAME + Sourcing Festival on 20-22 October 2021. CITEM officials discussed their online promotional activities, using the HOPIN App, the weekly newsletters to prospective clients and interested buyers.  During the Q&A portion, CITEM addressed queries on pricing scheme for Philippine products to make them more competitive in the international market; Business Matching Platform given the 12-hour time difference between the Philippine and the Americas; and requests for promotional materials with Spanish translation for the LatAm market.  CITEM committed that it will be providing copies of “Look Books” and “Price Points” to all Foreign Service Posts (FSPs) in the Americas as promotional materials for prospective clients./ END
