Ambassador Daza visited the Mariposa Geothermal Site of the Energy Development Corporation (EDC) at Laguna Del Maule, 6th region of Chile on 05 November 2021. EDC is a leading Philippine geothermal company with 44 years of experience in renewable energy generation. It has invested US$ 40 million in a geothermal project in Chile with a potential for 240 MW. EDC is one of the four companies granted concession rights in the exploration of geothermal energy in Chile.
Country Head Camilla Manzano, Site Manager Leonardo Carrasco joined the Ambassador, her spouse and Special Assistant Paula Rodriguez in this trip. END
