16 July 2021- Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza together with 12 Ambassadors accredited in the region presented their credentials virtually to President Francisco Sagasti of Peru on 16 July 2021.  The 12 Ambassadors aside from the Philippines represented the following countries as non-resident Ambassador to Peru- Denmark, New Zealand, Ireland, Zambia, Burkina Faso, Slovakia, Slovenia, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Estonia, Vietnam and Cyprus.

After the presentation of credentials, President Sagasti delivered brief remarks where he noted the significance of the ceremony, the diversity of the countries present, as well as the will of Peru in strengthening its presence as a reliable and active partner within the international arena. He underscored Peru’s confidence in the multilateral system and its institutions, highlighting friendship, dialogue and international cooperation provide the best way of addressing the health, economic and social impact of the pandemic.
