10 July 2021- The Philippine Embassy in Santiago and the Honorary Consulate in Guayaquil, Ecuador organized a virtual gathering attended by some 30 members of the Filipino Community in Ecuador to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Philippine-Ecuador Diplomatic Relation. The program consisted of opening remarks by Honorary Consul Corazon Oliva Reyes, a message by Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza, singing of the Bayan ko by the representatives of Filcom, video presentation featuring Filipino culture and tourism, games on Philippines and Ecuador´s culture, history and commonalities. The attendees came from different cities across Ecuador and thoroughly enjoyed the interactive games and the virtual get together to celebrate this milestone event. END
