Philippine Embassy officials and staff pose near the Rizal bust located at the Plaza Filipinas in Santiago, Chile
(Santiago, 30 December 2019) – Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza with the officer and staff of Santiago PE commemorated the 123rd Martyrdom Anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Plaza Filipinas in Las Condes, Santiago.
The Rizal bust in Plaza Filipinas was inaugurated on 18 May 1989. The Embassy and the Municipality of Las Condes added a plaque detailing Rizal’s life, achievements and heroism in June 2016. END
