EMBASSY CONDUCTS SUCCESSFUL CONSULAR OUTREACH IN LIMA

(Lima, 23 November 2019) – The Philippine Embassy in Chile, with jurisdiction over Peru, conducted a consular outreach mission in Lima to serve its clientele of Filipinos working and residing in the country. Consular Assistant Ms. Ferlina Camento and Administrative Assistant Ms. Josefina Abenoja jointly conducted the consular outreach. Filipino Community Coordinator, Ms. Katbeth Kreimer, also provided invaluable support to ensure the smooth flow of applicants, as well as assistance in spreading news about the Embassy’s visit.
More than 38 Filipino nationals availed of the consular services to process passports and other legal documents. The outreach also served as an opportunity for the Embassy to accommodate Assistance-to-Nationals (ATN) inquiries. END
EMBASSY HOSTS CONSULTATIONS BETWEEN THE ASEAN COMMITTEE IN SANTIAGO AND CHILEAN ACADEME

(Santiago, 22 November 2019) – As part of its Chairmanship of the ASEAN Committee in Santiago (ACS), the Philippine Embassy hosted a lunch for the ambassadors and officials of ACS, and members of the Chilean academe at Ambrosia Restaurant in Vitacura on 22 November 2019. Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza chaired and organized the lunch to serve as an opportunity to exchange views between ACS and Chilean experts on developments in the country and the region.
In attendance were Ambassador Nguyen Ngoc Son (Vietnam), Ambassador Sarikan Pholmani (Thailand) and Ambassador Muhammad Anshor (Indonesia), Professor Juan Carlos Oyanedel, Professor Miguel Vargas Roman, Professor Pablo Gonzalez and Ms. Daniela Pradenas Wilson, journalist and owner of a crisis management company.
The ACS is composed of the Embassies of the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. The Philippines is Chair of the ACS until the end of January 2020. END
