The Philippine Embassy in Chile, represented by First Secretary and Consul Dennis Briones, attended the IV Cooperation Forum of the Pacific Alliance (Chile, Peru, Mexico and Colombia) held virtually on 30 August 2022. The Philippines also attended the breakaway session on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management which allowed more than 60 country participants and 100 plus attendees to share best practices in capacity building during seismic risks, including tsunamis and its impact on society. This was closely followed by a session on Technical Assistance and Good Practices for Sustainable Production and the Best Use of Fertilizers. 

The Philippines was granted observer status in the Pacific Alliance during Chile's Pro Tempore Presidency in 2019 END.
