The Philippine Embassy turned over the set of books to Centro Lector Corporacion Cultural, Lo Barnechea, Santiago, Chile on 05 November 2019. The donation was made possible with the support of NCCA.

Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza handed over books to Centro Lector Corporacion Cultural Library in Lo Barnechea, the biggest community in the Metropolitan Region of Santiago, Chile on 05 November 2019.

The book donation forms part of planned collaborative activities between the Embassy and Cultural Center. The center is divided into several sections such as the library that offers broad selections of books, learning sections for people ages from 1 to adult, theatre, exhibition hall and cooking demonstration rooms for different workshop activities for all the members of the community.

The book donation was made possible with the support of the National Commission for the Culture and the Arts and the Office of American Affairs. END
